Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) is a 150 MHz wide broadcast band of the 3.5 GHz band (3550 MHz to 3700 MHz) in the United States.
The new specifications from the CBRS Alliance will complement 5G New Radio (5G NR), the new air interface developed by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) to support the wide variety of 5G services, devices, and deployments.
The FCC approved full scale commercial deployment of a shared spectrum platform in the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service band. It enables CSPs with many opportunities for industrial enterprises as a means of accelerating the Industry 4.0
